AESAudio Engineering Society (AES)

The Telos Alliance is a Sustaining Member of the Audio Engineering Society, the only professional society devoted exclusively to audio technology. Founded in the United States in 1948, the AES has grown to become an international organization that unites audio engineers, creative artists, scientists and students worldwide by promoting advances in audio and disseminating new knowledge and research.

 

ATSCAdvanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC)

The Telos Alliance is a member of the Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC), an organization involved in setting forth standards for digital television transmission over terrestrial, cable, and satellite networks.

 

 

SMPTESociety of Motion Picture and Television Engineers® (SMPTE®)

As a sustaining member of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers® (SMPTE®), The Telos Alliance supports the worldwide leader in the advancement of the art, science, and craft of image, sound, and metadata ecosystems. SMPTE has advanced education and engineering since 1916 through the Motion Imaging Journal and development of over 800 standards, recommended practices, and guidelines.

 

 

SBESociety of Broadcast Engineers (SBE)

The Telos Alliance is a proud member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE), the only organization devoted to the advancement of broadcast engineering. With over 5,500 members and 100 local chapters, SBE provides a forum for ideas and information. SBE amplifies the voices of broadcast engineers through professional certification, education, and speaking out on technical regulatory issues.

The Telos Alliance is proud to belong to DTV Audio Group, whose mission is to help our industry meet the potential of digital television audio with consistency and efficiency through education and communication. The core constituents of DTV Audio Group are network operations and technology managers responsible for DTV audio quality, and the engineers and consultants who support them.

EBUEuropean Broadcasting Union (EBU)

The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) is the world’s foremost alliance of public service media with 73 Members in 56 countries in Europe and 36 Associate Members in Asia, Africa and the Americas. As a member of the EBU's PLOUD group, whose focus is the use of loudness normalization for radio, The Telos Alliance helps ensure support to Public Service Media.

 

 

IEEEInstitute of Electrical and Electronics (IEEE)

The IEEE's core purpose is to foster technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. IEEE is essential to the global technical community and technical professionals everywhere, universally recognized for the contributions of technology and technical professionals. The Telos Alliance is a member and distinguished lecturer of the Broadcast Technology Society (BTS) of the IEEE. The IEEE BTS encompasses equipment, techniques, and systems related to broadcast technology.
