Enhancing the Digital Path: Frank Foti of Omnia Audio

And Scott Martin of Nautel Release Joint White Paper

31 March 2004, Cleveland, Ohio, USA

Scott Martin of Nautel and Frank Foti of Omnia Audio will release their joint white paper “Enhancing the Digital Path: Digital Multiplex (D-MPX) Connectivity” at the Broadcast Engineering Conference, held during NAB 2004.

The technical paper looks at the problems of modulation overshoots due to sample rate convertors and the connection method of AES/EBU pertaining to stereo generation in the exciter as opposed to the processor. The discussion will reveal a new concept for high performance MPX generation and interconnectivity to an audio processor.

Also discussed will be the advent of HD Radio and a new performance digital path presented.

This joint presentation is slated to be delivered at 3.00 p.m., Monday, April 19th at the NAB Convention Center, Room N110 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
