Two major German broadcasters have upgraded to Omnia, with the result that 4 of Munich’s Top 5 FM radio stations now rely on Omnia to help grab and hold listeners.
Munich’s privately-owned Radio Charivari and Radio Arabella have both purchased Omnia-6fm digital audio processors, sold through P+P Nachrichtentechnik GmbH & Co. KG, the German representatives for Telos and Omnia.
“For us, purchasing an Omnia-6fm was not a luxury – it was a necessity,” says a spokesperson for Radio Arabella. “Munich is one of the most hotly contested radio markets in Europe; Omnia-6fm will help us to keep our competitive edge.”
Other German broadcasters who rely on Omnia audio processing include Deutsche Telekom, NDR, Antenne Bayern and RTL.
Omnia-6 audio processors are the world's first broadcast audio processor with 96kHz sampling and 24-bit resolution. Features include 5 bands of Automatic Gain Control, 6 bands of limiting and a fully useradjustable crossover network. For details, please visit www.omniaaudio.com.
