Telos Alliance Makes Key Appointments, Strengthening Customer Focus
Refined Organizational Structure Highlights Recent Growth & Innovation

30 March 2011, Cleveland Ohio USA

Broadcast equipment manufacturer Telos Alliance announced three promotions within its executive team following the recent appointment of Michael Dosch to CEO and continued solid growth across each of its divisions: Telos Systems, Axia Audio, Omnia Audio and Linear Acoustic. The changes are effective immediately and are summarized as follows:

  • Martin Sacks, formerly vice president of Axia Audio, is now vice president and COO, The Telos Alliance.
  • Carol Hetman, formerly business operations manager of Telos Systems, is now vice president / CFO of The Telos Alliance.
  • Kirk Harnack, formerly executive director of international business development, Telos Systems, is now executive director of worldwide sales for the Telos, Omnia and Axia brands.

The organizational changes increase the Alliance's ability to serve a growing international customer base with innovative technologies such as the Telos VX VoIP phone system, the new Omnia.11 audio processor, the Axia Element 2.0 console system and others. The changes also enable increased cooperation across each of Telos' divisions and will result in a more seamless customer experience.

"The growth that Telos, Omnia, Axia and Linear have experienced over the past several years has been better than we could have hoped for. You might even call it 'explosive,'" said CEO Michael Dosch. "In fact, our clients are so enthusiastic about the newest developments that we've actually had a hard time keeping up with demand. We never want to disappoint a client, so I've decided to reorganize our management structure to facilitate faster development and shipment of these in-demand products. With Marty, Kirk and Carol in their new positions, we'll achieve that goal."

Martin Sacks -- a seasoned broadcast pro with over 30 years in the industry -- started at Telos in 1999. As COO of The Telos Alliance, he will oversee the day-to-day operations of all four Telos divisions; in his new role, he will also continue to develop customer relationships and spearhead the company's growth initiatives. During his career, Sacks has held many roles in the broadcast industry including overseeing the technical operations of radio stations, managing an industry leading publication and leading sales teams both at the manufacturer and distributor level. In his most recent role as vice president, Sacks was involved in all aspects of the customer experience.

Carol Hetman, who began her career with Telos nearly 15 years ago as business operations manager, is now executive vice president and CFO of Telos Alliance. In her role, she will oversee the entire financial and accounting activities of all four Telos divisions. Since she joined the company in 1996, Hetman has seen Telos dramatically increase its international customer base and increase its revenues more than three-fold. Prior to joining Telos, she worked at Malrite for 13 years.

Kirk Harnack, a radio station owner, chief engineer and technology evangelist, has been promoted to executive director, worldwide sales, Telos, Omnia and Axia. Having owned his own broadcast facilities, Harnack is very familiar with Telos' entire line of technology as well as the challenges that face customers each day. In his new role, he will oversee the international sales teams of the Telos, Omnia and Axia divisions and assist with sales forecasting and inventory planning.
