Telos and Omnia Win Big at NAB

Four Awards Earned for New Product Introductions

Broadcast equipment manufacturers Telos Systems and Omnia Audio gathered a record-breaking number of awards at the recent NAB Convention in Las Vegas.

Radio World’s Cool Stuff award and BE Radio Magazine’s Pick Hit award are given to the best new products shown at the NAB. Telos and Omnia products earned a total of four awards - two from Radio World and two from BE Radio - for new products introduced at the show.

  • The new Telos SmartSurface studio controller won a Cool Stuff and a Pick Hit award for its innovative new approach to integrated studio control.
  • The Omnia-6 digital audio processor was given a Cool Stuff award by Radio World for its introduction of 96kHz/24-bit audio processing to the broadcast processing arena.
  • The Telos Zephyr Xstream audio codec earned a Pick Hit from BE Radio for its incorporation of leading-edge features such as low-delay MPEG AAC-LD coding and IP streaming abilities.
