Telos Infinity Virtual Commentator Panel
The Infinity Virtual Commentator Panel (VCP) is a unique extension to the VIP product family that enables remote contributors to access a commentary or announcer station from anywhere in the world through the VIP intercom platform. Built-in features include the ability to mute the on-air microphone feed when using comms or speaking “off air”, and create a custom monitor mix of IFB, program, mix-minus, and aux sources - each with individual gain controls - all available while still using dedicated VIP intercom keys. VCP is offered as a licensed option for VIP systems running V3.0 software and is available in 4, 8, and 12-channel configurations.
VCP replicates the physical commentator panels and announcer stations familiar to voice artists, commentators, and radio and television reporters, making it instantly recognizable and easy to understand. For applications where a hardware panel is preferred, VCP seamlessly integrates with the popular Elgato Stream Deck + through a dedicated Stream Deck plug-in.
-
Enables remote contributors to access a commentary/announcer station from anywhere in the world using Infinity VIP
-
Accessible through an HTML5 browser on PCs, tablets, or smartphones, or via the VIP App for iPhone and Android
-
Replicates physical commentator panels familiar to voice artists, commentators, and radio and television reporters
-
Includes separate on-air and intercom mic channels with automatic on-air muting when comms channels are in use
-
Programmable monitor inputs with rotary gain controls for IFB, program, mix-minus, and aux sources
-
Natively integrates with Elgato Stream Deck + through a dedicated Stream Deck plug-in
-
Available in 4, 8, and 12-button configurations via license key for VIP systems running V3.0 or later software

Push-to-Talk (PTT) Pushbutton
A useful addition to the Infinity VIP phone application (for later iOS and Android releases), the PTT feature adds support for PRYME® Radio Products Bluetooth pushbuttons. Please consult your Telos Infinity partner to confirm compatibility.
Once a compatible PRYMEBLU® PTT button is paired with your phone, the VIP Phone App will give the user the option to associate the button with panel Key 1, Key 2, Last Caller Key (Reply), or to activate Mic Mute, enabling the user to operate hands-free when using a VIP panel.
Note: The VIP Phone App PTT feature is product-specific and only works with PrymeBlu PTT push switches. Switches from other brands should not be expected to work with VIP unless they are a direct derivative of the PrymeBlu brand.
Bitfocus Companion
Available from Q4 2026, the Infinity Bitfocus Companion software module adds Telos Infinity to the 700+ control applications for media products hosted as part of the Bitfocus Companion family.
The Infinity Bitfocus module adds the ability to control Infinity VIP panels remotely using the new Stream Deck Studio rackmount universal control panel.

Cloud Deployments
Telos Alliance Professional Services personnel have extensive experience installing VIP on a variety of cloud provider environments. However, the majority of clients have chosen to use Amazon Web Services (AWS) products. The following information is specific to VIP installations on AWS
AWS Specific Details
Specialized knowledge is required to successfully install VIP on an AWS Platform
We recommend that anyone considering deploying VIP within an AWS environment review and understand the ‘General Guidelines for AWS Deployments’ document, and, where possible, have experience with the following technology:
- Basic understanding of networking architecture and terminology.
- Proficiency with Linux CLI (command line interface) operation.
- Experience with the following AWS products and services is required:
- AWS EC2
- AWS VPC (including Security Groups, Elastic IPs, etc.).
- AWS Certificate Manager (ACM for SSL certificate)
- AWS Application Load Balancer (ALB for SSL/TLS termination)
- AWS Route 53 (optionally used as DNS Manager).
- Standard AWS infrastructure and best practices.
Typical AWS EC2 Instance Specifications (subject to AWS Product Type):
The descriptions below represent typical AWS instance sizes for the number of VIP Panels and Link (four-wire) channels, assuming user panel connections are made using WebRTC.
Please note that sufficient vCPU's MUST be available for the base Operating System, Dashboard, Beacon, and Portainer. The number of cores required to run the base OS may increase with the number of Panels and Links deployed. Keep this in mind if you run into any performance issues at scale. Additional cores and CPU pinning can help alleviate performance issues.
Please contact Telos Alliance Professional Services for accurate and up-to-date guidance on right-sizing your resources

The equation used above for right-sizing a VIP system is:
(P / 4) + (L / 8)=X
P =The Number of VIP Panels deployed
L = The number of Links deployed
X = The number of vCPUs required
All VIP Cloud (and hardware server) systems include the following:
- VIP Server. Manages connections to VIP Panels, includes Nginx WEB server
- VIP Link. The Link provides external audio I/O connectivity.
- VIP Panel. The Panel container provides a connection point for an intercom user (number determined by customer at time of order)
- Infinity Dashboard. Dashboard is a configuration tool required to set up and manage the intercom system
- Portainer Docker Container Management
- Beacon Panel Access Manager
Security Group Requirements: Allow incoming ports
- HTTPS TCP 443 "Web Server (HTTPS)"
- SSH TCP 22 "SSH Admin" (optional, manual config and administration)
- UDP 7001-7016 "Link (External Audio)"
- HTTP "Web Server unsecured" (optional)
