BGS & Telos Alliance Demo Range of Products at 2016 NAB Radio Show

CLEVELAND, OH – 19 September 2016

The Telos Alliance®—leader in broadcast radio technology and parent company to Telos® Omnia®, Axia®, 25-Seven®, Linear Acoustic®, and Minnetonka™—announced today that it will be participating in the NAB Radio Show with Broadcasters General Store at the Omni Nashville Hotel, September 21–23, in BGS booth #202.

"The NAB Radio Show is the largest radio-only event of the year and is very important for both dealers and manufacturers," says Jim Armstrong, Director of Eastern US Sales for the Telos Alliance, who will be attending the show. "We look forward to a productive and focused week in Nashville, and thank our dealer partner BGS for its ongoing support. The BGS booth will have a great range of Telos Alliance gear on display and we invite everyone to come see these products in action."

BGS will be showing an Axia Fusion AoIP Mixing Console powered by a Powerstation Integrated Console Engine, complete with the new Fusion 3.1 software update that adds AES67 support. Powered by an Axia QOR Engine, the expandable, customizable Axia iQ Console—available in sizes from 8-24 faders—gives attendees additional console options.

Telos Systems HX6 six-line talkshow system will be on display using VSet6 headsets. Additionally, BGS will show how the Z/IP ONE award-winning IP codec from Telos helps broadcasters get the best possible quality from public IP networks and mobile data services; even from connections behind NATs and firewalls.

Finally, two new Omnia products will be demonstrated: the Omnia.7AM, a premium, feature-rich audio processor that’s surprisingly affordable and purpose-built for AM radio, and the Omnia.11 with the one-two punch of the new G-Force Dynamics Engine and Perfect Declipper options. Designed by Frank Foti and Cornelius Gould, G-Force is the new dynamics processing framework that enables the Omnia.11 to set the overall EQ for signature consistency, making it sound cleaner, clearer, louder, more consistent, more open, and more pleasing. The Perfect Declipper, engineered by audio-processing legend Hans van Zutphen, uses a revolutionary new algorithm to replace clipped areas in audio recordings, restoring dynamics and removing distortion.
