"Axia is leading the way with AES67 education and by implementing AES67 compliance across our product line, a process we started when the standard was ratified," says Marty Sacks, VP of Sales, Support, and Marketing at the Telos Alliance. "The IP-Audio Driver, the first driver to feature AES67 compliance, reinforces our commitment to ongoing innovation and to offering broadcasters more options for interoperability with their preferred gear."

The Axia Livewire+ AES67 IP-Audio Driver lets customers send and record single or multiple channels of stereo PC audio directly to and from Axia networks via Ethernet—no sound cards needed. Up to 24 channels of stereo audio can be sent simultaneously over a single CAT-5 Ethernet connection. V2.10 updates the driver to make it AES67-compliant, adding the ability to sync to PTP, support to define multicast addresses outside of the Livewire range, and SIP/Unicast support for RTP streaming.

Users simply need to visit the Axia Livewire+ AES67 IP-Audio Driver Product Page to download the software.
