Axia adds representatives in Tokyo

Space Creators Alliance will distribute consoles, studio networking equipment in Japan

27 October 2011, Cleveland Ohio, USA

Axia Audio has named Space Creators Alliance (http://ss.sc-a.jp/) as distributors of their line of IP-Audio radio consoles, intercoms and routing systems for Japan.

“We’re very happy to have Space Creators Alliance representing Axia in Japan,” says Ken Skok, Asia-Pacific region Sales Manager for the Telos Alliance. “Hiroyuki Ishihara and his crew are dedicated professionals who have seen first-hand the benefits of IP-Audio and networked studios. I’m excited that their expertise will now be put to work to spread the word about Axia to Japanese broadcasters.”

Space Creators’ first demonstration of Axia equipment will be at InterBEE in Tokyo, November 16th through November 18th, 2011, in Booth #4311; Axia consoles will be available for hands-on demonstrations along with audio processing gear, broadcast phones and codecs from Omnia Audio and Telos Systems.

Axia networks use the Livewire™ IP-Audio standard to route and share audio and logic throughout the broadcast plant. With Livewire, broadcasters can quickly and easily build audio networks using switched Ethernet to connect a few rooms, or an entire facility. Axia networks have a total system capacity of more than 10,000 audio streams, and can carry hundreds of digital stereo channels (plus machine logic and PAD) over a single CAT-6 cable, eliminating much of the cost normally associated with wiring labor and infrastructure.

Axia IP-Audio networks are now on-the-air in more than 2,000 studios worldwide.
