Broadcast Engineers Pick Telos Vx At NAB 2010

12 May 2010, Cleveland Ohio, USA

Telos featured its new VX Multi-Studio phone system at NAB 2010 and received all the right attention. A panel of broadcast engineers judged the VX worthy of RadioINK magazine’s first annual "techINK Innovation" Award.

"VoIP phone systems are the path business is taking, and we believe that it is the future of broadcast telephony as well," says Telos CEO Steve Church. "It’s obvious that the judges, by choosing VX for an award, feel the same way too."

The "techINK Innovation Awards" are presented annually to newly introduced products, services or technologies that are selected by the techINK Editorial Advisory Board, and judged on the criteria of fulfilling a radio broadcasting application in a uniquely useful fashion.

Skip Pizzi, Radio Ink's Technology Editor, said, "The judges were impressed at the number and quality of award-worthy products this year, particularly given the economics of the previous year, during which they were being developed. This speaks volumes about the resilience of this industry and its vendor community. We all look forward to seeing the benefits that broadcasters will enjoy as they implement these ground-breaking and cost-effective products in their facilities."

"We’re proud to bring the first broadcast VoIP phone system to the industry." concludes Steve Church.
