ESPN chooses the Telos Hx2 digital phone hybrid
28 January 2011, Cleveland Ohio, USA
ESPN (www.espn.com), with six domestic cable networks and presence in nearly 400 million homes, is the latest big broadcaster to purchase the new Telos Hx2 digital hybrid telephone interface. The equipment sale was made through Telos distributor Broadcasters General Store of Ocala, Florida.
Broadcasters looking to dramatically improve caller audio during call-in segments are rapidly discovering the benefits of new Telos Hx-series hybrids. The dual-hybrid Hx2 is packed with new hybrid technology – the most advanced Telos digital signal processing ever. Hx hybrids bring even the most unruly mobile phone audio into submission, while audio processing from Omnia automatically manages levels and EQ. Built-in auto-answer, caller disconnect detection, ingenious audio-leveling and anti-feedback routines for enhanced open speaker studio applications, call screening and line-hold features, front-panel send, receive audio metering and an internal universal power supply are all standard in the Telos Hx.
Hx2 is a part of the Telos broadcast telephony line, the World’s most trusted family of single-line hybrids and multi-line phone systems.
