Here's one from Bob Souza, General Manager of KXTO and KCKM in Odessa, Texas. Bob told us that, some time ago, he was raising power on his AM (KCKM). Omnia.ONE FM features the same processing topology that made the original Omnia FM famous, a Wide-band AGC / Leveler followed by a four-band AGC and separate (not integrated) four-band limiter section utilizing a shared precision crossover.
Rounding out the processing is Omnia's advanced pre-emphasized final limiter / clipper......the same that is used in the Omnia 5EX / 6EX. Also: a newly designed digital stereo generator with SCA convenience input and 19kHz pilot output for synchronization to external RDS generators.
