Telos Alliance Showcases Powerful New Tools at DVG Integral North

Washington, D.C. (October 30, 2018) – The Telos Alliance TV Solutions Group is shaking up global broadcast markets with innovations for networked communications and cost-effective realtime loudness control. These new tools are on display at The Integral Symposium North event hosted by Digital Video Group (DVG) - including the new Linear Acoustic® ARC (Automatic Realtime Control) next-generation television loudness processor, the matrix-free Telos Infinity® IP Intercom, and Minnetonka Audio’s AudioTools® Server. These offerings provide improved audio capabilities for video production companies and broadcasters, and are built on the proven technical leadership and expertise of the Telos Alliance.

“Each of these products solves specific audio challenges that video production companies and broadcasters face every day,” said John Schur, President of The Telos Alliance TV Solutions Group. “We are committed to recognizing these challenges, and developing the best tools possible to meet them head on.”

Linear Acoustic ARC (Automatic Realtime Control), the next generation television loudness processor was specifically designed to provide high-quality loudness control in applications where multi-channel audio, high channel density, and coded audio aren’t needed or required. ARC offers simultaneous processing for up to four independent stereo or mono programs at an affordable MSRP of only $3,995 with no compromises in audio quality. ARC is expected to ship in January 2019.

The Telos Infinity IP Intercom system converges voice communication and contribution audio on a single IT backbone employing the latest standards-based VoIP and Livewire+ AES67 AoIP transport. Telos Infinity IP Intercom replaces outmoded matrix technology and provides advanced features and functionality beyond what was possible with legacy systems. Ideal for upgrading or adding on to existing infrastructure, Telos Infinity IP Intercom delivers plug-and-play simplicity with the scalability and power of a distributed DSP architecture.

Minnetonka AudioTools Server, an enterprise software suite for file-based workflows, offers a complete solution for managing and processing linear PCM, Dolby E, Dolby Digital and Dolby Digital Plus content, as well as the audio essence in MXF and QuickTime clips. The current version, v4.5, now includes WorkflowEditor, a new graphical user interface that allows users to quickly create and edit workflows, plus feature enhancements and new processing modules. WorkflowEditor integrates seamlessly with Telestream Vantage, allowing workflows to be managed and controlled from within Vantage.
