Telos Alliance Supports 2017 Ohio Broadcast & Multimedia Conference

COLUMBUS / CLEVELAND, OH – September 19, 2017

The Telos Alliance®—innovator in broadcast radio and TV technology and parent company to Telos®, Omnia®, Axia®, Linear Acoustic®, 25-Seven®, and Minnetonka™—will be presenting, exhibiting, and sponsoring the local 2017 Ohio Broadcast & Multimedia Technology Conference today at the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

"While based in Cleveland, the Telos Alliance is an international company, with dealers and partners all over the world," says Angi Roberson, Director of Marketing for the Telos Alliance. "But in addition to all the shows we do internationally, we love having the opportunity to support regional and local shows like the Ohio Broadcast & Multimedia Technology Conference, which is right in the Telos Alliance's backyard."

In addition to sponsoring the show, the Telos Alliance will be exhibiting with members from the Telos Alliance and dealer Broadcasters General Store (BGS) showing the company's latest innovations.

At the show, Telos Systems will emphasize VoIP in broadcast telephones, reinforcing the cost savings to the broadcaster presented by replacing traditional phone lines with ISPs. Omnia continues to trail blaze in processing with products like the new VOLT processor that reflects the latest thinking in processor design. Omnia is also announcing new software updates that make existing processors more powerful, without users having to buy a whole new box. Meanwhile, Axia is redefining the future with virtual radio, as well as introducing several new Axia Fusion console products that help broadcasters dial in their console to their individual tastes.

Telos Alliance's Kirk Harnack will be giving an IT Breakout Session entitled "Faster, Cheaper, Better! The Adoption of AES67 and AoIP Let's You Have All Three Now," at 10:30 AM. In this session, Kirk will help broadcasters navigate the IP transition to catapult them down the path to faster, cheaper, and better networking, audio, and operations, helping them understand and implement AoIP and AES67 in their own facilities.

Additionally, the Omnia All About the Audio Tour will be making a stop at the Ohio Broadcast Engineering Conference. Omnia U.S. Sales Manager Dave Collins will be doing demos in the Broadcast Audio Fanatics van, allowing broadcasters to hear Omnia products, including the new VOLT processor, Omnia.11, Omnia.9sg, and more, firsthand.

Previously called the Ohio Broadcast Engineering Conference, this full-day learning experience will have tracks for radio and television broadcast engineers, a track for IT professionals, and a new track for video, production and multimedia professionals in non-broadcast facilities.
