Axia® Altus virtual mixing console and WO Automation for Radio now available as an integrated solution on AWS.
Cleveland, Ohio (April 14, 2023) - Telos Alliance®, trusted global leader in broadcast audio for more than three decades, today announced the latest collaboration in their ongoing partnership with WideOrbit, a market leader in radio station automation: A fully-integrated Cloud-based virtual environment combining WO Automation for Radio with the newly-announced Axia Altus virtual mixing console.
This breakthrough allows both Altus and WO Automation for Radio to be installed in Amazon Web Services (AWS). Combining the console and automation system into a single virtualized solution significantly reduces the required amount of on-premises equipment and supports a hybrid workforce and geographically-separated on-air talent.
“Our customers need to deliver quality programming to their listeners in the most economical and efficient way possible,” said William Irvin, VP of WO Automation for Radio. “Our partnership with Telos Alliance is one of the key components in making that goal a reality, allowing for increased efficiency and reduced costs.”
“Telos Alliance has long believed in the power of partnering with other industry leaders, going back 20-plus years to the early days of Livewire,” said Marty Sacks, Telos Alliance EVP of Sales, Marketing, and Strategy. “Integrating our Altus virtual mixing console and Wide Orbit’s WO Automation for Radio is a great example of what working together can do for our mutual customers, and it reinforces the value of adding virtualized solutions to our product lineup.”
This new technology will be displayed at the 2023 NAB Show in WideOrbit’s Booth, #W2134, while Axia Altus and several other newly-announced products can be seen in the Telos Alliance Booth, #W3766, both in the West Hall.
